The first one is from the "Fiesta of the Fishing Rod", La Vara del Pescao, in Arinaga, GC, Spain.
This short clip is from Egypt and it's about the ancient craft tradition of "Pharaonic art", which is manifacturing exact copies of tomb artifacts, executed in alabaster, lapis lazuli, cobalt and other extremely hard types of stone. Abdul Hamid's Alabaster Factory is the largest and most respected producer of statues in Luxor, near the Valley of the Kings. (Directed by terri Casella, filmed by Bjorn Ulfsson)
This clip is from the Carnival of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain. The largest of the Carnivals outside of Brasil.
This video is a short documentary about the catholic celebration of Saint Lucia, in the quite mountian town of Santa Lucia de Tirajana, GC, Spain. (Directed by Bjorn Ulfsson & Terri Casella)
This film is about Swedish surrealist painter Karl Gustav Thulin, on Gran Canaria. Unfortunetaly it's only in Swedish (We're working on subtitling it) but the Spanish guitar music is great, and the scenery and the art is spectacular, so it's worth seeing anyhow.
